I was pondering the Art of War from a conversation or something earlier, and was thinking specifically of the opening line, my favorite, "Deception is at the heart of all warfare". It's a book from 5,000 B.C. or so written by Sun Tzu, and is very short and is from the asia/mongolia region originally, and was typically written on a bunch of numbered slats, including carved into wood, metal, and bamboo. Metal carved numbered matching slats are routinely dug up around the world by archaeologists, miners, and other people digging or wandering, and they mostly tend to match, with some being translated consistently into other languages, at the various depths and with the various surrounding materials connected to different times and cultures. There are other consistently matching archaeological books, usually carved into or stored inside metal, from around 10,000 B.C. to recent times, along with a number of fake artifacts that are made for a variety of reasons. There also has been some meticulous destruction of these artifacts in the past, including the King James biblical burning, during which he attempted to eradicate every copy of the consistent old bible and replace it with his new King James bible, which may or may not have been somewhat similar. I should note that after said burning, which reached most of the copies on the surface, additional copies were dug up in the future by archaeologists, although I know of no such copy in the public domain, for any of the books of the bible. Note that most of them are in old english, although I prefer machine translation with inclusion of original text for my translations. I should also note the entire text of the art of war is available via google books online, and I recommend reading it, it's about 70 pages but each page is a very short poem-like fragment, although I suggest pondering each one until you understand what it says, or just reading it normally. I also wonder what other texts exist that are archaeologically consistent, as well as how to find more or the content of said documents? I should note that they usually contain censored material, including explicit depictions of reproduction and the opposite, which are typically burned/banned here, along with the people who propagate or defend them.
